Hi, I’m Niki.
My journey with photography started when I was just fourteen and my brother gifted me my first camera. Since then, photography has always been a very big part of my life. Growing up in a small village in the Alps, I started mainly photographing landscapes.
I always had a big desire to explore the world. My camera became a companion, guiding me through travels to South America, Asia, and beyond. Through these travels, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph places vastly different from where I grew up. Meeting people from across the globe has opened my eyes to the diverse ways we all live and think, and I find it endlessly inspiring.
Capturing all the moments that happen along the way, my passion shifted towards people photography which is still my focus today. I love hearing the stories of individuals whose lives are so different from my own and sharing those experiences through my work.
My camera constantly pushes me to explore further, look around one more corner, and take a step beyond what’s familiar. Photography, for me, is not just about the final image—it’s about the journey. About listening to stories, observing and making moments, people and places last.
Right now, as well as being a design student, I’m active as a freelance photographer based in Munich. I’m free for all types of projects.
